According to China Customs, in the first two months of 2026, China's import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 50.74 billion USD, up by 10.5% y/y. Among that, the export value was 17.06 billion USD, up by 12.1%. The import value was 33.68 billion USD, up by 9.7%. Trade deficit reached 16.62 billion USD, expanded by 7.4% year-on-year.

For the month of February, China's import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 21.96 billion USD, up by 11.8% y/y. Among that, the export value was 7.47 billion USD, up by 26.9%. The import value was 14.49 billion USD, up by 5.4%. Trade deficit reached 7.02 billion USD, narrowed by 10.7% year-on-year.
