According to China Customs, in 2025, China's import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 311.57 billion USD, down by 2.1% y/y. Among that, the export value was 104.16 billion USD, up by 1.2%. The import value was 207.41 billion USD, down by 3.6%. Trade deficit reached 103.25 billion USD, narrowed by 8% year-on-year.

In December, China's import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 29.06 billion USD, up by 1.2% y/y. Among that, the export value was 10.57 billion USD, up by 0.3%. The import value was 18.49 billion USD, up by 1.7%. Trade deficit reached 7.92 billion USD, expanded by 3.5% year-on-year.
