According to China Customs, in the first nine months of 2025, China's import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 230.06 billion USD, down by 3.6% y/y. Among that, the export value was 74.49 billion USD, up by 1.4%. The import value was 155.57 billion USD, down by 5.8%. Trade deficit reached 81.08 billion USD, narrowed by 11.7% year-on-year.
For the month of September, China's import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 28.37 billion USD, up by 5.4% y/y. Among that, the export value was 8.69 billion USD, up by 4.5%. The import value was 19.68 billion USD, up by 5.7%. Trade deficit reached 10.99 billion USD, expanded by 6.8% year-on-year.
