According to China Customs, in the first seven months of 2025, China's import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 174.88 billion USD, down by 5% y/y. Among that, the export value was 57.72 billion USD, up by 1.8%. The import value was 117.17 billion USD, down by 8%. Trade deficit reached 59.45 billion USD, narrowed by 15.8% year-on-year.
For the month of July, China's import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 27.06 billion USD, up by 4% y/y. Among that, the export value was 8.385 billion USD, up by 1.6%. The import value was 18.68 billion USD, up by 5.1%. Trade deficit reached 10.29 billion USD, expanded by 8.2% year-on-year.
