According to China Customs, in the first six months of 2025, China's import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 147.84 billion USD, down by 6.5% y/y. Among that, the export value was 49.34 billion USD, up by 1.8%. The import value was 98.5 billion USD, down by 10.1%. Trade deficit reached 49.16 billion USD, narrowed by 19.6% year-on-year.

For the month of June, China's import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 26.66 billion USD, down by 0.7% y/y. Among that, the export value was 8.13 billion USD, down by 6.3%. The import value was 18.53 billion USD, up by 1.9%. Trade deficit reached 10.4 billion USD, expanded by 9.4% year-on-year.
