According to the Customs, from January to July 2024, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 184.02 billion USD, down by 6.3% y/y. Among that, the export value was 56.73 billion USD, up by 2%. The import value was 127.29 billion USD, down by 9.5%. Trade deficit reached 70.55 billion USD, down by 17.1%.

In July 2024, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 26.02 billion USD, down by 3.1% y/y. Among that, the export value was 8.25 billion USD, up by 1.6%. The import value was 17.77 billion USD, down by 5.2%. Trade deficit reached 9.51 billion USD, down by 10.4%.
