According to the Customs, from January to April 2024, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 102.94 billion USD, down by 6.2% y/y. Among that, the export value was 31.32 billion USD, down by 0.9%. The import value was 71.63 billion USD, down by 8.7%. Trade deficit reached 40.31 billion USD, down by 14.5%.

In April 2024, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 27.16 billion USD, down by 4.2% y/y. Among that, the export value was 8.23 billion USD, down by 0.1%. The import value was 18.93 billion USD, down by 5.8%. Trade deficit reached 10.7 billion USD, down by 9.8%.
