Vice president Yu Lu attended a virtual meeting with Ângela, director of the trade promotion department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply (MAPA) of Brazil on April 13.

Representatives from MAPA and Brazilian embassy and consulates in China spoke highly of CFNA’s long-standing efforts in promoting the sound development of China-Brazil agricultural trade. The two sides also exchanged views on arrangements for a series of food and agricultural product promotion activities to be held during SIAL Shanghai 2026 in May, focusing on products including açaí berries, frozen fruits, nuts, coffee, and bee products.

Representatives from the agricultural section of the Embassy of Brazil in China and the Consulate-General of Brazil in Shanghai also attended the meeting.
