On the evening of January 25, Prime Minister Petteri Orpo of Finland hosted a reception at the Residence of the Finnish Ambassador to China. President Cao Derong attended the reception at the invitation of the Finnish side.

On January 26, president Cao Derong met with business representatives of the Prime Minister’s delegation to China, including Mr. Christoph Vitzthum, president and CEO of Fazer Group, and Mr. Ville Pekkola, general manager of Valio China. President Cao briefed the Finnish representatives on recent developments in China’s trade in food and agricultural products. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on the production and trade of products such as dairy products and oats. Representative from the Consulate General of Finland in Shanghai also attended the meeting.
