President Cao Derong met with Terry Youzwa and Gregory Allan Cherewyk, chair and president of Pulse Canada and exchanged views on the development of pulse trade between China and Canada on Jan. 13. Youzwa and Cherewyk highly appreciated CFNA’s work in promoting trade and cooperation between the two countries in the pea industry, and promised to actively organize a delegation to participate in CFNA’s China International Pea Industry Conference 2025 & Summit Forum on Plant-Based Foods, as well as GPC China Congress & China Pulses 2025 jointly hosted by CFNA and GPC. Youzwa and Cherewyk also warmly invited president Cao Derong to attend the Pulse & Special Crops Convention held in Canada in September this year.
