On the afternoon of June 29, the 4th Meeting of China Blueberry Committee under the China Chamber of Commerce of Import & Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce & Animal By-Products (CFNA) was successfully held in Dandong, Liaoning Province. Around 40 core enterprise representatives from Yunnan, Shanghai, Guangdong, Hunan, and Liaoning gathered to discuss strategies for the high-quality development of China's blueberry industry.

Moderated by Lu Kun, deputy director of Fruit, Vegetable & Industrial Food Department, the meeting featured a keynote address by Dani GENG, director of the Blueberry Division at Joy Wing Mau Group. Focusing on the new opportunities and challenges brought about by the explosive growth of China blueberry industry, attendees engaged in in-depth discussions on urgent needs, including PBR protection, enhanced quality and safety, industry coordination, and sustainable development.

Since its establishment in November 2024, the Committee has been dedicated to serving as a vital bridge and link during a critical period marked by rapid industrial expansion and challenges to industry order. The committee stated its commitment to working hand in hand with all relevant parties to promote equality, mutual benefit, manageable risks, and win-win cooperation. It aims to cherish the hard-earned achievements of the blueberry sector and drive China blueberry industry toward a new stage of healthy, sustainable, and high-quality development.
To further strengthen organizational development and enhance institutional capacity, the meeting officially added four new member, injecting fresh vitality into the committee. Following the session, participants visited Enhue (Dandong) Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. for an on-site tour of its modern northern highbush blueberry production and processing facilities, providing an excellent opportunity for technical exchange and mutual learning within the industry.

The meeting not only provided a highly efficient and pragmatic communication platform for China's blueberry industry, but also effectively boosted corporate confidence and strengthened industry cohesion. Attending representatives spoke highly of the meeting's outcomes and expressed strong confidence in the future of China blueberry industry.
