President Cao Derong met with a delegation from the Iowa Soybean Association (ISA), led by President Thomas James Adam, and CEO Kirk Leeds on March 24. Representatives from the U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) joined the meeting.

Both sides exchanged views on soybean production in Iowa and China-U.S. soybean trade. They stated that they would jointly carry out economic and trade exchange activities, and strive to promote the sound and steady development of China-U.S. soybean trade and agricultural product trade as a whole.
