Vice president Yu Lu, as the vice chairman of the Chinese side, attended the 3rd Meeting of Agribusiness Working Group of the BRICS Business Council in2025 and delivered a speech on behalf of China on May 15.

China firmly supports various activities carried out by Brazil as the BRICS rotating presidency and will continue to promote the development of agricultural trade between China and Brazil. Meanwhile, China also hopes to further deepen the healthy development of agricultural trade with other BRICS member states.
