On 11 May 2023, the Agricultural Trade Office of the US Embassy in Beijing (ATO Beijing) celebrated its 20th anniversary. At the event, CFNA was awarded the title of "Best Partner". Ambassador Nicholas Burns presented the award to CFNA and vice president Xu Xiaohu received the award.

Established in 2003, ATO Beijing is the agricultural office set by the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) in Beijing, covering 20 provinces in northern, northwestern and southwestern China. Over the past two decades, ATO Beijing has worked to introduce more quality U.S. agricultural products to Chinese importers and consumers, and to provide authoritative information and full assistance to Chinese importers interested in purchasing U.S. agricultural products.

CFNA has continued to work closely with the ATO Beijing to promote exchanges and interactions between the U.S. and Chinese agricultural industries, and to promote trade and investment cooperation between the U.S. states and Chinese provinces. In the future, CFNA will continue to work with ATO Beijing to promote the high-quality development of the agricultural industry in China and the U.S.
